Welcome to our world of skydiving....   Tandem Skydive    The tandem skydive is the easiest and most hassle free way to make your first jump. Shortly after you arrive at the center, qualified instructors will take you through your 30 minute training brief about all aspects of your tandem skydive, from getting into the plane, all the way through your skydive until you are back on the ground. Weather permitting, you will exit the aircraft from around 10,000 feet or more, experiencing around 30 seconds of free fall and travelling at 120mph, this is the ultimate rush. Your tandem instructor will open the square ram air canopy at 5000 ft, in which time you can enjoy the tranquil descent and have a go at steering the parachute, your tandem instructor will then control the landing.   We currently work in association with charities which have registered with us. All you have to do is raise £295 or more in sponsorship using our specially designed sponsor forms which you will find enclosed your free information pack (to request one simply click the "order info pack" button on the left) Please be assured that this target is well within reach, just ask everyone you know to sponsor you. Remember every penny over the £295 target is a further contribution to the charity. If you are looking to book a Tandem Skydive with out sponsorship the fee would be £245.   Static Line                                                                          The parachutes used are Ram Air (Square) Canopies, this parachute was specially designed for both student and experienced parachutist's. The Parachute opens automatically and affords a soft landing. You will undergo 8 hours intensive training prior to your jump from 3,500 feet.You will arrive at the centre on a Saturday morning where you will under go 8 hours training, your parachute jump will then take place on the following day ( Sunday ).You will receive a refresher course going over all the subjects covered the day before, which is then followed by your exhilarating parachute decent. Upon completion of your jump you will be awarded an official British Parachute Association certificate to prove that you have completed a static line parachute course and jump. At this point you would have completed the first stage of becoming a qualified skydiver leaving you with the opportunity to continue with the sport. If you are looking to book a Tandem Skydive with out sponsorship the fee would be £210   AFF Course                                                                                 In Just 7 days you could be a qualified skydiver! AFF Stands for accelerated fee fall and this is the quickest way to become a qualified skydiver. You will jump from an altitude of 12,000 feet or more and experience 40-45 seconds in free fall before opening your own canopy at 5,000 feet. Two highly qualified instructors, one either side will guide you in free fall by hand signals.There are eight levels in the AFF Course with each level aiming to teach you a new skydiving skill. Most people require only one jump on each level but occasionally if the instructors think that you have not fully mastered all the required techniques you may have to repeat the level again at a reduced cost. However before you go anywhere near the aircraft you will undergo a full days intensive training, together with a thorough explanation of what you will be doing.
