Tandem Skydive Only £260 The tandem skydive is the easiest and most hassle free way to make your first jump. Shortly after you arrive at the centre, qualified instructors will take you through your 30 minute training brief about all aspects of your tandem skydive, from getting into the plane, all the way through your skydive until you are back on the ground. Weather permitting, you will exit the aircraft from around 10,000 feet or more, experiencing around 30 seconds of free fall and travelling at 120mph, this is the ultimate rush. Your tandem instructor will open the square ram air canopy at 5000 ft, in which time you can enjoy the tranquil descent and have a go at steering the parachute, your tandem instructor will then control the landing. Static Line Only £185 The parachutes used are Ram Air (Square) Canopies, this parachute was specially designed for both student and experienced parachutist's. The Parachute opens automatically and affords a soft landing. You will undergo 8 hours intensive training prior to your jump from 3,500 feet. You will arrive at the centre on a Saturday morning where you will under go 8 hours training, your parachute jump will then take place on the following day ( Sunday ).You will receive a refresher course going over all the subjects covered the day before, which is then followed by your exhilarating parachute decent. Upon completion of your jump you will be awarded an official British Parachute Association certificate to prove that you have completed a static line parachute course and jump. At this point you would have completed the first stage of becoming a qualified skydiver leaving you with the opportunity to continue with the sport. |
